Meet Dr. Valerie Daverio
Dr. Valerie Daverio, AP, D.O.M., Dipl.Ac. (NCCAOM), is a nationally board-certified acupuncture physician with more than two decades of experience in holistic healing. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of East West College of Natural Medicine, she completed advanced clinical training in hospitals throughout China through the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
From 2009 to 2017, Dr. Daverio served as an Adjunct Professor at East West College and led an externship program at New College of Florida, mentoring students and overseeing patient care. Today, she brings that same passion for education and empowerment to her clinical work.
Her Sarasota-based practice reflects her deep commitment to whole-body wellness, integrating Eastern medicine with functional diagnostics to support healing at the root level. Dr. Daverio specializes in treating chronic pain, digestive issues, thyroid disorders, autoimmune disease, mold toxicity, and skin conditions like melasma, acne, and vitiligo.
